Description: The Crochet Mitten Workshop will teach you how to crochet a shell-stitch mitten in 3 two-hour sessions! The first session will cover starting your mitten and learning to crochet the shell stitch. The second session guides you through shaping the thumb hole and beginning the cuff. The final session will finish with the cuff and thumb, leaving you with a one-of-a-kind, warm winter accessory! Participants must be 10 years old+. Supplies: Yarn and pattern will be provided. Participants must bring their own US I-9 (5.5mm) crochet hook, stitch markers, and tapestry needle - feel free to come into Betsy’s to purchase these items here for 10% off!

Skill Level: Intermediate- participants must be comfortable chaining, single, half-double, and double crocheting.

Homework:

• No homework prior to the first class session.

• For the second session, participants must complete the body of the mitten, stopping when it matches the measurements for their size noted in the pattern.

• Before the final session, participants must complete the cuff of the mitten. We will complete the thumb together!
